Maxx Phnom Penh Downtown, A H WORLD hotel

Spacious and clean room. Friendly and attentive staff.

Noisy breakfast environment. Digest a signage in different languages to remind guests to keep their voice level down, especially when using their mobile devices.

I like our room and the view! Also, they have japanese toilet!

The food on the breakfast menu.

Good location, convenient when you take long stay, they have laundry room and you can save money

The room was lovely - very modern. Staff were very friendly.

Location wasn’t as convenient as other hotels we’ve used in the city before.

Clean and modern hotel with a great breakfast!

Comfortable, clean room; great location with nice coffee shops across the street and interesting restaurants nearby.

The night shift receptionist is all smile and helpful. Very good experience.

I been here a couple of times, but this time the toilet has a faded stain.

Room is so nice and clean, automatic toilet with hot water bidet and hot air blower, and believe me it feels so good.

They does not accept credit card for deposit 100 USD. You need to prepare the bank note.

Superb

Breakfast haven’t more food, soup too bland. Hope hotel have Vietnamese coffee and condensed milk

Upgrade rooms , with separate toilet and shower. The sky bar had a great view. A good place to unwind by the end of a busy day

clean amazing staff, my second visit and I would recommend to anyone, amazing location

only think I think could be improved is the shop on site - needs a few more products

what a surprise, the hotel was new and the facilities , rooms, equipments are totally new. the staffs were helpful and friendly.the interior design is contemporary , lot of equipment are from xiaomi . I was upgraded to a king room much to my surprise and it was pretty nice. the Salon area is spacious and clean and nice. I believe the hotel was recently renovated or build and it is mostly intended to chinese guests as everywhere it is written in chinese. The only problem during my stay was the TV chanels, since the hotel is under chinese management or built by them, you dont have any access to international TV chanels like CNN, BBC, National geographic, SKY TV etc etc, all the chanel are from china CCTV....So, if you are a fan of chinese news, then it is ok, otherwise dont expect seeing intl news during your stay. :)

All TV chanels are from china, no any international news chanels or international movie chanels.

The Room was actually not the one I had booked, it was similar, but smaller. The water pressure in the shower was great, the AC worked well, the hotel is in a good location, and the bed was comfortable. I would rate it a 10 if it wasn't for the staff.

Upon arrival, I was immediately made to feel out of place. Perhaps as I had gotten out of a tuktuk and carry a rucksack. I was questioned many times about my booking in a suspicious manner and I really felt like the staff didn't believe I had booked the hotel. The hotel caters to Chinese businessmen... I am not one of them, and as such was looked at suspiciously. Even upon checking-out, I was made to feel like I didn't belong. The staff has zero awareness of customer service.

Very helpful and super friendly staff. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Nice big rooms.

Not told the restaurant wasn't open when booked. After nearly two days of traveling, I wanted to eat in. I few crawlies in the morning at breakfast. I appreciate that it happens, but put me off a bit when you see them. Might be due to the refurbishment going on as it all looked clean. I will give it the benefit of the doubt.

The rooms are spacious and modern. Very clean and friendly staff.

Fantastic hotel highly recommend extremely modern and very comfortable lovely really big sky bar on top floor with great views.Staff were excellent ?

breakfast, location and customer service

wifi too slow

the breakfast, location and customer service

The room so nice and clean. Equitment new and morden. Staff so nice and friendly - but only one thing not saticfied, I a

Very modern look and clean interiors. The view was great, and it's a very fine looking place

It reeked of cigarettes, and the ac was not working as intended. When I got up to my 10th floor room at night, my room was blazing hot and took all night to cool down.Push came to shove when I needed to leave, my safe was not opening when I had to go. Someone had either changed the combination or the safe was faulty. If you're checking out, make sure to start that process an hour before you get in the car, it takes a long time.
